The most advance photo editing software for the time being is Adobe Photoshop. You can purchase a license at Adobe.com . But if you're not afford to purchase Adobe Photoshop, you may want to use an open-source photo editing software such as GIMP.
Reference Manual
A good photographer regularly keeps reference manual by their side. By doing so, photographer can constantly refer the reference manual to make sure they are doing a right thing. This can be a good practice to a fresh photographer.
